The contest is limited to 30 preregistered Bob Dylan Wannabes, so sign up early. This contest fills up quickly. Registration is first-come, first-served. You must provide all the requested information to be registered. Half-baked registration forms will not be processed.

There is no entry fee for this event, and no monetary prizes. The winner will receive a plaque naming him or her "King (or Queen) Of The Bobs 2009."

By filling out and submitting this form you agree to have your name posted on our Web site. We will send you a confirmation e-mail once your name is posted on our site. Repeat: You must provide all the requested information to be registered. Half-baked registration forms will not be processed.

1) name the Dylan song you plan to perform

2) indicate if you have participated in any of the previous four contests -- 2004, 2005, 2006 or 2007 -- listing the year(s). This information is for our use and will not be posted

3) list your complete mailing address

4) list your age

All wannabes are required to perform one Dylan song (with no backup singers or musicians -- unless you can assemble Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson and the ghosts of Richard Manuel and Rick Danko) or any prerecorded accompanyment before an audience of more than 300 unforgiving Dylan fans.

Songs must be performed solo -- with guitar, keyboard or other instrument provided by the performer. GGMBDWC staff will provide an appropriate sound system.
